The Micro Teach Session

The micro teach session makes up the practical element of the Award in Education & Training.  It is a 15 minute lesson that is planned and delivered on a topic chosen by each student, and usually based on either work or a hobby.  Part of the fun of these sessions is that other students in the group (and us the assessors) learn new skills or information in just 15 minutes - from origami to first aid!

This week one of our students was Abdulah Aden, a student pilot from Canterbury.  He successfully delivered his micro teach on the principles of aerodynamics which was a new one for us!  Feedback from our Principal was that he really knew his stuff and was a great communicator - well done Abdulah!
